A healthy nation and its people recognize when it makes mistakes and attempts to do better in the future. Simply covering your pick-up truck with American Flags and telling anyone who doesn’t see this country through the red, white and blue glasses that you do is un-American and a traitor does no one any good. We are not the “Greatest Nation” on earth. There’s no such place. Every country has its plusses and minuses. While I will agree that we have far more plusses than most. But we have to acknowledge our minuses as well.

There really is no other explanation. Why else are conservatives so xenophobic? Why do they fear that which they do not understand, and they don’t appear to understand a lot. You’re the malcontent who lives at the end of the block. The guy who doesn’t work and play well with others and thinks the parking spot in front of his house is reserved just for him.
It’s always about “Me first and screw the rest”. My money, my property, my beliefs over anyone else’s. They fail to ever understand that they are part of a bigger world and need to be globally aware and conscious.
Fortunately this backward breed is dying out as they only comprise about 20% of the current population so we only need to put up with them for a few more years. Let us just hope we can minimize the damage they could reek in the meantime.
